This is where you
can drink...
For a town with just 600
inhabitants, Sella is really well served - in addition to the bars
mentioned here, there´s the "Fiesta Commission" venue in the main
square which opens up as a bar on various occasions, raising money
for the October Fiesta.
Bar Paco
In the main square at the opposite end to the church. Closed all day
Thursday, the rest of the week it´s the noisy focus for whatever is going
on in the village. Paco and his wife Amparo run it together with their son
Iván. Amparo makes lovely simple tapas - ( ask for Merluza (hake),
gambitas (little prawns, Patatas Bravas (chips in a hot sauce) or
croquetas (ham or fish breaded potato-cakes) No English spoken, but
this never seems to be a problem. Just look hungry...
Ca Isa i Toni
Really a restaurant and one of two places in Sella where English is
understood (by Toni, the boss - the other place is Quatre Caps). On the main road so you can park outside
as you arrive and ask for directions. On a hot summer evening, the best
place to sit in the sun with a cold beer and watch the world go by. See
the "Sella Restaurants" page for food
details - Isa is a wonderful cook! Closed Monday afternoons and all day
Tuesday.
